Al Bataeh (ULB) landed 32-year old American 205cm power forward Rickey Young (college: WVU Tech) for upcoming season 2022-2023

Young played most recently at Al Ittihad in Libyan D1 league. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Power Forward of the Year and voted to All-Imports Team. He also played for Qurrain (D1) in Kuwaiti.

Young is a very experienced player. Young's game is described as: Ricky Young is the only player from USA, that is born 1990, and have 2 years experience in European league, outstanding jumping abilities, and athleticism, very fast, run floor good, good rebounder, blocker, can shoot from outside, team player, very coachable, definitely NBA potential..
